Read an epilogue

Epilogues were added in November 2024 as a new feature.

Most epilogues will have chapter #30 as the number (and #31, and #32 if more are added), and occur years in the future of a character.

They can be played without playing the character, but to make sense, you need to know enough about them. At least the chapters written when the epilogue was written, but more can be added.

Epilogues will tend to be written in "fast writing" not in "slow writing"

What is the difference?

Imagine that you have to go see Teagan and tell her that you are leaving for the weekend with your naturist girlfriend, Helga.

Slow writing

Nervously, you get to Teagan's door, and knock on it. You don't even remember why you have to tell her, but Helga said it was important.

Maybe it's that you are nude in front of Teagan or perhaps it's Teagan herself, but you feel a tingle in your stomach.

Teagan opens the door. She is wearing her pink t-shirt.

"Ah! Don't fucking scare me like that. Naked and all"

"Teagan, you know I am a naturist now. You even go to some even events sometimes"

"It's not the same when it's just you and me, Allan. So, what do you want other than bother me?"

You sigh. At least, she didn't call you a pervert this time.

"Helga and I are going to Cherry Peak for the weekend, so don't leave cupcakes by my door, I won't be there"

"Damn it, I would have loved to go with you, but I am way too busy. No, wait, I just remembered that you are a pervert, so forget it. Have a good time, loser"

And then, she closes the door. You sigh again. She did call you a pervert. Oh well, it's not her you are dating, it's Helga.

Fast writing

But of course, before leaving for the weekend, you had to warn Teagan not to leave you cupcakes. She almost wanted to go, but claimed to be too busy, all while calling you a pervert. There is no winning with that girl.

But it's more...

Our slow writing will have a 1000 word step occur in like, 5 or 10 minutes with almost every piece of dialogue and action, while fast writing might have a week, a month or 40 years in a single step with only an outline or specific moments.

Sometimes, fast writing is used in a chapter, like Ellen's second day of camping in Ellen #4, simply because the second day is more of the same from the first day, so only the differences are highlighted.
