Every Monday mornings, Amar and Bob have a marketing meeting before people actually get into the office, which prompted Ellie and Nina to go eat breakfast at a little place near the college where they work.

Why are Monday mornings rougher? Because of the rest of the week, the "rush hour" is more evenly spread, but people are in no hurry to get to work on Monday morning and don't try as much to beat the congestion. Same for Fridays, when they are in a hurry to get home.

In my case, I take a lot of the Friday afternoons off, and work from home if I still have work to do. I am not the only one, many of my employees do the same, and most of the other branches of the company follow the same schedule.

That leaves Monday morning and when I learned that Ellie and Nina ate together away from traffic? It didn't take much to convinced me.

Now, as friends, I get to know stuff that even their husbands do not. That I wouldn't even dream of sharing to my husband.

I know that they are more than friends. To me, it was so obvious! I always felt like the third wheel which wasn't normal. We were friends and that's it. But then, I saw some signs. Mainly from Ellie. Nina is much better at hiding the truth, but Ellie had desire in her eyes for her friend.

When I get in, I see that Nina and Ellie are sitting in our usual booth, next to each other so they can hold hands without me noticing, or so they think. They don't have their food yet, but their menu is gone.

As I approach, the waitress, always the same one, asks me if I want the usual. I nod and thank her and see that Ellie and Nina are in a heated conversation.
